Charming Charlies

This is a new accessory store at San Tan mall. They have some cute items and I like how the store is organized by color. The other day I saw these boots for sale in there. They are similar to galloshes(plastic/rubber) but with a cowboy flair.

New contacts

I went to the eye doctor tonight to get a prescription for new contacts. It had been over a year and a half since my last visit. I was almost out of disposable contacts and could not order more without seeing the dr. His office asst wrote down my old prescription for him to start with, unfortunately he thought it was a 7 when it should have been a 9. The left eye could not see anything, not good. I knew my vision had got worse but this was crazy, exerything was blurry. He realized what had happened and all was good. I should get my new contacts in a week or so. Sign at Costco allowing only HIPAA personnel behind the counter:)

Saturday at the Fairmont

Hung out by the pool for the day for Kyra's 7th birthday. The girls had lots of fun. The hotel has 3 pools, 2 water slides and a big screen in the evening for the dive in movie which was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Tour of the Helipad

Thanks to Dora I had a tour of the St Joseph's Hospital helipad today. The landing pad can hold up to 3 helicopters, the center holds the most weight at 12,000 lbs. If you look at the pisture that has "South" on the cement there is a catwalk that leads to the building, please note part of the walkway has no siderail. Yes...I am scared of heights and no I did not go close to the edge of the building. Special thanks to Gabe who took us up there.
