Who watches LA Ink?

I would love to get a tattoo from High Voltage, the tattoo shop featured on LA Ink. They are now casting for upcoming shows, in order to be considered you have to email them at lainkcasting@gmail.com. I don't really want to be on the show and I am not sure exactly what tattoo I want to get but I do want another one.

Great shopping day

Thanks to Bekki for joining me on my shopping trip to PV mall today. We found a lot of great deals! Dillards was having an additional 40% off every sale item. I got a pair of Big Star capri's and two cute tops. We then went to Ross and I found a cookie mix with pumpkin cookie cutters and icing that had Peanuts on the box:) and a candle that smells like candy corn.

Population Me

Matthew West's new song:

In my own little world it hardly ever rains
I’ve never gone hungry or always felt safe
I got some money in my pocket shoes on my feet
In my own little world Population me
I try to stay awake through the Sunday morning church
I throw a twenty in the plate but I never give ’til it hurts and I turn off the news when I don’t like what I see it’s easy to do when it’s population me
What if there’s a bigger picture
what if I’m missing out
What if there’s a greater purpose
I could be living right now outside my own little world
Stopped at the red light, looked out my window Outside the car, saw a sign, said “Help this homeless widow" Just above this sign was the face of a human
I thought to myself, “God, what have I been doing?”So I rolled down my window and I looked her in the eye Oh how many times have I just passed her by
I gave her some money then I drove on through
in my own little world there’s
Population two
What if there’s a bigger picture
what if I’m missing out
What if there’s a greater purpose
I could be living right now outside my own little world
Start breaking my heart for what breaks yours
give me open hands and open doors put Your light in my eyes and let me see
that my own little world is not about me

You can hear it first part of the song here:

I like it, I heard it two days ago.

Eat Pray Love

I went to see this movie yesterday. I enjoyed the movie, I won't go into the details in case you want to see it. The theater was packed, I counted maximum 15 guys, not a big surprise:) The movie was over 2.5 hours long including the previews. There were two previews of movies I would like to see, one is Life as you know it and the other I cannot remember the name and stars Anne Hathaway. One thing I did not like is that Julia Roberts used a Sony laptop.

Fried Twinkies

Last night my friend Lesley had her birthday party at Toby Keith's Bar and Grill in Mesa. She has been into country music for the last 6 months and wanted to celebrate here. The menu consists of fried everything, good thing I ate before I went to join the party. One of the guys ordered a fried bologna sandwich. Since it was her birthday the waiter brought out a fried Twinkie on top of strawberry sauce with a candle:) Everyone who tasted it loved it, I did not try it.

New show to debut on ID

I saw the preview for this show a few days ago. "Who The (Bleep) Did I Marry?", is about spouses that keep "shocking secrets" from each other and is scheduled to air Aug. 25. Other programs on Investigation Discovery channel are "On the case with Paula Zahn" and "I (almost) got away with it". I have watched both of these a few times, I wonder if this show will last.

Football Already

I cannot believe football is back already. Sunday the Bengals and Cowboys played, I do not know who won nor do I care. Does pre season matter? I do know that TO Terrell Owens is now playing for the Bengals.

Parker's Lighthouse

Saturday night I had a dinner break from the seminar at 6pm. I walked down to the harbor and had a delicious meal, lobster taquitos, shrimp and calamari. Of course I had to see the ocean so I walked about half a mile down to the beach, the water was freezing cold. Nothing beats an ocean view.

Unleash the Power Within

Tony Robbins seminar in Long Beach this weekend was awesome! I love that I walked over hot coals 1200-2000 degrees. We were not allowed to use the flash on our cameras so these pictures are really dark but you can see the glow of the coals.
