Shopping addiction

Yes, I love to shop, not only for myself but also for others. Finding something on sale is even better! Tonight I went to Dillards at the Chandler mall. I ended up with 2 swimsuits, sunglasses, 2 shirts for my mom, 2 pairs of tights for my niece and another gift for someone. Just in case you have a Dillards in your area a good sale started today: take an extra 40% off the last marked sale price. You might find some things you cannot live without:)

Smallest Disco ball

Tonight Keri and I went to wine bar in Gilbert that had a jazz musician playing. The club had a small dance floor and very interesting people there. While I was enjoying the music and looking around the room I noticed the tinest disco ball hanging above the dance floor. It was not in the middle of the floor but more to the right side of the area in front of the stage. Can you spot it?

$22 Million to play basketball....

Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns have agreed on a two-year, $22 million contract extension. The deal will keep the two-time MVP point guard under contract with the Suns through the 2011-2012 season.

(I think he kind of looks like Blaine in this pic:)

Elk Crossing

On my way up to Heber I saw a sign that said "Begin Elk Crossing Test Area". This area also had some kind of electronic device pointed towards the sky, not sure what it was. A few hundred feet down the road there was the following sign to end Elk Crossing test area. How are the elk supposed to know this is where they need to cross?

Earthquake? Not so much

This crack in the middle of the street is in my complex. How does this happen? Too hot? So far it has been 2 days and no signs yet of trying to correct this problem.

Fun at Wet n' Wild

My sister, niece and nephew came to visit this weekend. We decided to go to the new Wet n' Wild on Sunday. Yes, it was hot! 115 to tie the record for July 12th. We had a lot of fun and went on many different slides.

Heber Fireworks

Every year for the past 7 years I have been going to Heber for the fourth of July. Saturday morning there is a parade which gets bigger and bigger. The firestation brings their trucks out and squirts all the kids down the parade route. We then go to the park and look at the booths and usually get Indian Fry bread, ice cream or snow cones. I little while later we go camp out at the local highschool ball park on the lawn and wait for the fireworks to start. This time we arrived around 4pm, super early considering they start at 9. Good times are had by all!

My new tattoo

No, I did not get a real one but I do want another. It is actually Jagua ink which I was told would last up to 4 weeks. It is already starting to fade, not good considering I could have paid a little more and got the real thing.

Art Exhibit in Vegas

One of the galleries in the Venetian had Tom Everhart's work displayed. It was awesome! There were a lot of painting available that we not going to be sold anymore, too bad I could not get any of them right now. I would have taken more pictures of the art but the lady working there was talking to me for quite a while and I couldn't.
