New mini series at church, the message this weekend was on Encouragement.
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. James 1:22
There was a study done by the Gotman(sp) Institute that determined for every one positive comment there are six negative ones. This could help explain why people ask "Am I good enough?" People go where they get encouragement. Do you have the courage to do the right thing when everyone is going the wrong way?
Bottom line was have the courage to go first even if you are the one needing encouragment because when you "refresh" others you will be refreshed. Encouragement is never small when you are on the receiving end of it.
