I was hoping to see the Ravens and 49'ers in the Super Bowl. I cannot believe #7 missed the kick:( I like their purple uniforms.

The Dash

Interesting message tonight...there will always be three things on a tombstone; birthdate, deathdate and a dash(-). Funny that the dash is the least expensive thing on the tombstone because this is what describes the person. Friends, Family and Forever are the most important things in this life. Final Destination

No, this is not about the movie, I do not like scary movies. I bought 90 Minutes in Heaven last Sunday and finished the book the last night. This is a true story. At first first I thought how can someone be gone for an hour and a half and then come back to life so I read the book to find out his story. I enjoyed reading about Don Piper's life and how he tries to comfort others.

Betty White's Off Their Rocker

First happy 90th birthday to Betty White! NBC had a nice tribute to her last night. It was followed by her new show. It was hilarious!! Funniest two parts were both set at huntington beach, first one two older men sat on either side of younger girl at beach and when wave came in they would stand up and say here it comes..weeee. second was man pretending he was blind standing behind two girls sitting on steps he would throw seeds on top of girls and say here birds:)

The Iron Lady

Meryl Streep was amazing playing Margaret Thatcher. I recommend this movie for all to see. Did you know Margaret and Dennis Thatcher called each other by their initials? MT and DT. (At least in the movie they did.)

Enjoyed a yummy lunch at Spinato's on Chandler and 48th St, first time here and really liked it. I had a greek salad and spinach pizza and have to say I like the salad and pizza as much as Dion's, my favorite place for pizza in New Mexico.

Buddy check 12 spinoff?

The local NBC station is channel 12, they have a program to email women on the 12th of each month to do self check for cancer screening. I saw this on the back of someones car today and it reminded me of buddy check 12.

Mobbed

There are some different/interesting/odd shows on television this season. While flipping thru the channels I stopped on Mobbed, a new program on Fox that Howie Mandel is hosting. This particular episode a guy wants to meet this girl he has been talking to for the last 5 years. He is moving to LA to tell her he wants to be with her, if she rejects him he is moving to New York for his band. A flash mob is staged for the introduction. I have to say the show got me to watch for the first 26 minutes. I want to flip the channel to see Are you there, Chelsea? with Chelsea Handler but want to see what happens, Tivo would be nice to have now.

Cloth toiletpaper

No thanks! Watching extreme cheapskapes tonight and one family cuts up cloth to use as toilet paper then was in washing machine and re use. She saves $240 per year. I want to save money but not here.

Wind Cave Trail

Today I went to Usery Mountain Regional Park and hiked the Wind Cave Trail. It is 1.6 miles each way and took about 2 hours. What a gorgeous day to be outside and enjoy the scenery. See the little chipmunk wanting a snack? I have not been hiking for a few years I wonder if my legs will be hurting tomorrow. I feel great now!

30 days

A radio station I listen to is challenging everyone to listen to nothing but Christian music for 30 days and see how it can change you. I usually listen to this station all the time and once in a while flip to others stations. I was thinking about other things to do with this 30 day challenge. A good challenge for me would to be stop buying unnecessary stuff. This is hard because I love to go shopping and find a great deal, also if I find something I think someone else would like I usually buy it. I am going to do this for at least 30 days and hopefully save some $$ too.

No wonder why this shirt was itching all day. I did not take the rag off before I wore it today.

Candy store at Tempe Marketplace has a wide variety of gummys including blueberry bears. They also have a limited selection of clothing and various other items such as gummy bear ear buds.
