Tempe Arts Festival

Loved the crosses!

I found some yummy salsa(Mango and Pinapple Margarita) at the arts festival today. Next week is My Nana's Salsa Challenge at Tempe Beah park, I can't wait:) There are so many vendors from all over that come to Tempe and display their arts, crafts and food items. I took a couple of pictures of some items I liked and some would not let you take photos(great artwork though). I also purchased Spot some natural paws, I hope this helps with his cracked paws and licking.

CPR training

Today I became CPR and AED certified. I had never taken a CPR class before, it was very informative. I learned the Poison control number is 1-800-222-1222. The instructor said these calls go to Good Sam, I am not sure how accurate this is since at first he said they went to St. Joes. Here are some pics of when others were practicing their bandaging.

First day of Spring

First day of Spring deserves a fresh French pedicure! Hollie, Kim and I went for a much needed pedicure to start the flip flop season off right. The picture was taken at the Lego store while waiting for Blas.

Largest Full Moon in 18 years

Be sure you check out the moon tomorrow night! This will be the largest full moon of the year because it will be near perigee, its closest point to the Earth. Astronomers call this a supermoon, a phenomenon that occurs about every 18 years. The moon will be 31,000 miles closer to Earth but still 211,600 miles away. Next time this happens is 2029.

Presenter Tips

I recently celebrated my 5 year anniversary at my company! I received a plaque that was sent to my house along with a blank card and presenter tips. I thought it was funny this is now shipped to the employee and not the person's manager. I would hope after a certain period of time you would know how to pronounce the person's name.

I did it all by myself

Does it really take two people to pump gas? These people think so. Scary.

Happy 45th Anniversary!

Saturday Sandi's parents celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary! Today we went to Red Devil pizza(the original one on 31st and McDowell) to help celebrate. I had a great time! Adrian wanted dessert, the giant cookie with ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate on top. When it came to the table everyone wanted "to try" it:) Jordan wanted chocolate but had to settle for plain vanilla. He is patiently waiting for his on nana's lap.

Aloha Festival

I am excited for next weekend, the Aloha Festival will be here. This means yummy shaved ice from Happy Honu! Excited to try the new flavors:)

22 Years

Happy Birthday to my bff from college. I cannot believe I have know her for 22 years, crazy! I have been trying forever to get her to come out and visit. The only time I see her is during Christmas. This is a back in the day photo, we were going to the En Vogue concert, I think BBD was performing also. Nan is in the middle.
