We had a fire drill yesterday at work. I get to wear a cool reflective orange vest (new style with a zipper) and walk around my designated area, make sure no one is in the restrooms, conference rooms or going down the wrong stairwells while sirens are sounding. Do adults not know they should leave the building in case of fire or other emergency?

this reminds me of when we were told to get back in the building during the fire drill there....
Ooh orange vests are getting quite fancy these days...a zipper?! You should be allowed to smack any violators in the head.
