What happened to the Purple Palace?

The Suns old arena used to be called the Purple Palace. I think Purple is a much better color to be associated with than Orange. Very few people wear orange well. Everything now is Planet Orange. The playoff game was awesome on monday night! I think they will win tomorrow in Portland and then take a little break before the next tournament.

P.S. While watching the end of the Hawks vs Bucks game tonight (Bucks won) their slogan was "Fear the Deer!"

Goodwill finds

Lenore an I went on a mission friday. We found quite a few things besides the dress shirt and tie we were looking for. Mark now has a new(used) silk shirt and matching tie. Other great finds are the name keychains, unfortunately I could not find a Steve, Herb is the substitute. I am still not sure what the tiny toilet was used for but had a place for batteries in the back and looked like it might play music.

Ready for the beach

I found this cute shower curtain at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I am happy with the accessories I found on sale, $2.19 for curtain hooks. I love the flip flop bath mat and soap dispenser.

Fun things seen at Walmart

Before I even walked into the store the couple in front of me were wearing matching camo pants. Sorry the picture is blurry. The next item was on a t-shirt and nightgown, could not find Ms Pacman though. The nightgown was in a section devoted to mothers day items. I went to get string cheese and left with four items minus the cheese, totally forgot until I was at the car.

Trip to the vet

Spot was a good boy at the dr's office. He has an ear infection and allergies. He received a steroid shot at the office and was given a prescription for more which I picked up at Target, along with a few other ointments for his ear. The office liked him and gave him a cute little bandana for being so good. He is also considered a senior but don't tell him, he thinks he is still a puppy.

What a great day!

I have had the best Sunday today. Started out with a delicious breakfast with friends at Crackers. I went to see Date Night and then walked around San Tan window shopping for a while followed by sushi at Blue Wasabi. KAB is wishing she ordered this drink instead.

Tax Day

I am happy I did my taxes months ago! No waiting at the post office for me.

Pet Allergies

Poor Spot. He has bad allergies. He is always rubbing his eyes and licking his fur. I gave him some childrens medicine but that does not seem to work.

Blue Wasabi

They really do have blue wasabi and great food! Saturday night I went to Blue Wasabi with KAB. I tried the spicy garlic edamame(really hot), Mango Wango roll(spicy krab and mango in a paper roll), pizza rolls(KAB's choice), and Filet medalions all were delicious!

Fire Drill

We had a fire drill yesterday at work. I get to wear a cool reflective orange vest (new style with a zipper) and walk around my designated area, make sure no one is in the restrooms, conference rooms or going down the wrong stairwells while sirens are sounding. Do adults not know they should leave the building in case of fire or other emergency?
