What's the Difference?

This is a new series of sermons at church that started this weekend. I have been looking forward to this. The message was about Religion vs The Gospel, theme is Jesus plus nothing. Each week different religions and their beliefs will be discussed. Several items discussed this week had to do with what religion is and what the Gospel says. For example religion focuses on what I do or don't do and gospel focuses on what Jesus has done. Luke ch 15 tells the story of 2 brothers wanting the blessing(his stuff) of their father but not the relationship with their father. End message is God works his way to us thru faith.
