New Peanuts comic book series

For the first time since Charles Schultz's death 12 years ago Peanuts is going to be drawn by new artists for a comic book. No one is allowed to draw comic strips for the newspapers at his request.

Two movie weekend

This afternoon I went to see Wanderlust at the Mills with Bekki. Oh my, this was so funny! I was surprised there were not many people watching this show. It played in theater 22 which is small. I have not been to this mall forever and remember why, way too many people and all of them trying to run you over with their stroller.

Safe House review

This movie stars Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds. I remember when Denzel played on St Elsewhere which aired from 1982-1988. Who remembers this? Safe House is an action packed movie, I liked it. A lot of car chases, gun battles and in general trying to get away from the bad guys or good guys. I won't give away the ending in case you want to see it.

Ryan Reynolds cleans up nicely!

Ridiculous

Does anyone else find the new jack in the box commercial disturbing? The guy tells his mom he is getting married to bacon and then marries a sandwich with a veil on.

Google is the best

I bought Adele's cd last night, it is awesome! I ripped the music to my library and was trying to burn a copy but the start burn button would not light up. Eject the first disk and insert another one, same problem. Hmmm, is the burner broken? Check setting, other options, still not working. Remove playlist, create a new one...still not working. Google problems with burning cd on windows media player button will not light up. At the bottom of the page is the answer, shutdown media player, insert disk, open media player, create playlist and burn button lit up:)

New Tat

New tattoo for Damacio! He and my niece designed this one, he loves the Steelers and she loves Hello Kitty. I think this came out great:)

Tattoo Expo

The body art expo will be this weekend at the fair grounds. I think it would be fun to go, admission is $20 for the day. I want to get another tattoo. Still looking for exactly what I want, I know I want it in color(blue, green and purple). Neither of the shops where I went are participating in this event.

Who remembers the Hardy boys series and for the girls Nancy Drew? I found these while browsing at Goodwill today, not sure how many books are in the series but this is a pretty good collection.

Readers Digest

I did not know this magazine was still around. My parents used to get this subscription. I wanted to read it at the dentist today but it is hard to read while someone is drilling in your mouth. Everyone is a little nuts.

The Voice

I like this show much better than Idol and think everyone should watch it. It is cool that the beginning of each show starts with the judges(Adam, Blake, Christina and Celo) performing a song together. Also the commercial for the Voice during the Super bowl last night was hilarious with Betty White. Betty said finally someone wants me for my talent and not my body:)

Time for a new phone or broken app

I just noticed that Blogger on my phone published the last post twice. Last week I installed the system update on my phone and this took care on the low on space error. I am due for a new phone in about a month....hmmm what should I get?

The days are getting longer

When I got home tonight it was not dark yet:) 5 minutes later it was. Can't wait for warmer weather and more sunshine. Everyone needs some vitamin d and sunscreen of course.
