Hangover Part 2

Sandi and I went to see this movie at Westgate last night. It was pretty funny, if you go you have to stay thru the credits to see all the pictures. Definitely not for kids under 17. I think the first one was better.

Swimsuit time

I am going to get in shape...really I am! I had four coaching sessions thru my health insurance. The last session provided the most beneficial information. The "coach" referred me to this website for core training http://www.acefitness.org/workouts/5/. He also said to check out this slideshow http://www.webmd.com/diet/slideshow-fat-fighting-foods . Yum, I love watermelon, apples, berries and pistachios.

I love hot water

What better way to start the holiday weekend by getting a new water heater installed. Here are the before and after pictures. I think it was time to have the old one replaced.

Today was the start of the trial for Casey Anthony. She is now claiming her daughter drowned in the family pool after three years of claiming she was kidnapped.

8th Grade Graduation

I do not remember having an 8th grade graduation. Is this only in Arizona? I cannot believe Adrian is 14 and going to high school in the fall. I have known him since he was 2 weeks old and he is now taller than me. Thursday was the ceremony at the school. One of the students gave a speech, she did very well. I think the principal should have taken some lessons from her, he was not funny nor inspiring. Here are some pics of Adrian with the family. I wish we were not squinting.

Carbs are a drug?

Tonight Dr Oz is about carbs. The show is asking are carbohydrates as addictive as a drug. I would say no. I love a yummy bagel as much as the next person but I do not believe I can be addicted to them. What do you think?

Spray tan

I want a tan and unfortunately do not tan very well. Connecting the freckles is not working out. I went to the salon and tried the spray tan. Yesterday, I really looked like I had a nice tan. Today I still have a slight tan but I can tell after showering some of my tan seemed to wash away. I was told it lasts for about 5 days. I have to wait and see.

The directions I was given are for the 4 pass spray: Front, turn left, right and back. I am not sure why anyone would want the 2, don't you want your sides to match?

Strawberry Lemonade

McDonalds is offering a free 5oz sample of their strawberry lemonade tomorrow, I believe the commercial said from 11-4pm. On their website there is a coupon for $1 off and thru tomorrow the drink is only $1 so it is free for a full size.

NBA Playoffs

I cannot believe I am watching the Oklahoma Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies play tonight. It is a pretty good game. Who could have imagined these two teams would be competing in the playoffs?! I wish the Suns and Lakers were in it.

Afternoon matinee

I went to see Something Borrowed. Loved it! It is almost 2 hours long and well worth the time spent. Colin Egglesfield is hot! I did not know there was also a book. The less annoying lady at Bath & Body informed me there was. I was picking out candles at the 2 for $20 sale and one of the employees would not leave me alone, she kept having me smell every candle that was her "favorite". Argh!

Happy cinco de mayo

This van was in the office parking lot today(not in front of my building). Never heard of this tequila. No traffic on the way home tonight:)

If you have not seen this movie yet, I highly recommend it. I rented it saturday from Redbox and today Target has it on sale for $10 so I bought it:) What a great story!

Spa day

Spot went to Petsmarts today for a bath. Poor thing he was tan and now is white again!

Luxe

Saturday I went to get my haircut at a new salon/spa. Abbey did a great job! I will definitely be going back there. The salon/spa also offers massages, manicures, pedicures and spray tanning. I think I will have to try the spray tan one time since I will not use a tanning bed. I was told it last for about 5 days.
