Prism

Katy Perry's new release, Prism is good. So far track 7 is my favorite. I like that it comes with a surprise, plant the prism and you get wildflowers.

Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

The day(10/5) started at 4am. We left the house at 4:30am to hopefully avoid the crowds getting into the park, and got a great close parking spot thanks to grandma's parking sticker. First thing once in is get in line for some hot cocoa and coffee. Found an open table and got out the homemade carne asada burritos for breakfast. Around 6am the sun starting coming up and a few balloons went up to test the winds. The weather was perfect, cold but great for balloons and little by little the balloons took their place on the field, chase crew helped lay out the balloon and one by one they went up. By 9am all balloons were up except for the astronaut and a princess carriage which I think might have been too large. This was one of the best fiestas I have been to in a long time! We even got to hold a few of the balloons and Grandpa pretended to be a camo bee.

Barelas

The best red chile I had this weekend. I had never been here before but will go back when I am in Albuquerque again. I had huevas rancheros, loved it! Damacio bought me a beautiful silver cross from the gift shop there, need to find a place on the wall for it.

Flying star bookstore

Saturday am the local bookstore had a short performance of a scene from Star wars. Blas loved seeing this and we got to take pics with a few afterward:)

NMSU game

Started out meeting up with some friends before the rivalry game against umm. Walked over to the game, tripped and fell down,went into stadium found a seat and left about 10 minutes later. Went to Er and walked out with temp partial cast. Aggies were slaughtered 66 to 17. Did not even get a picture with my new Aggie sweatshirt my sister bought me.

Flu shot time

Today we went to employee health to get flu shots. The nurse said not to scratch the injection area. Shot was given under skin this year and no band aid so my beige shirt got a little dirty. As soon as we got downstairs Lenore started to scratch, she was bad, and would not let me take a pic of her itching. The lovely bouncy hair shot is what I got instead.
