Salsa challenge in Tempe

My favorite salsa was a mango one from New Mexico of course. Second favorite was one I have had before and cannot think of the name but it starts with a d and they have won. The line to get a small bag of chips was so long. Small band I watched for a while in the shade, not bad.

Isn't this what everyone wants?

I found this blog today and love it. What an amazing person to give these dogs a chance to know how it feels to be loved and that someone cares. I read the post about Rudy and the update on Lucky(post on 4-22-12) and was in tears.

A few weeks ago I wanted some gum for my flight. The snack shop at John Wayne airport got my $3.40 for this pack of gum. Ripoff! Next time I will be prepared.

Happy Earth Day!

Yesterday the Phoenix Zoo released 70,000 ladybugs on the grounds since they are great for natural pest control.



You can buy live ladybugs at gardeningzone, 1,500 for $6.50.

My friend Jadie went to the Dr today to find out if she is having a boy or girl.

10:14am Me: what time is your appt

5:04pm Jadie: it was at 3:30 but we don't know yet

Me: you had an ultra sound?

Jadie: yes they are having a shower now and find out when we cut the cake.

Me: what kind of Dr do you have?

Jadie: obgyn

Me: the Dr is having a shower now? So confused. They must do things different in Texas.

Jadie: yah

Me: girl?

Jadie: yes

Where's Kim?

This photo had me laughing all weekend! It was starting to sprinkle when we got on the pony express ride at Knotts. Look at those white knuckles on the anonymous rider in the blue jacket. This ride was fun and I wanted to go again but it started raining too hard.

National Cheer Competition

Saturday I went to watch my niece compete at the convention center in Anaheim. They performed twice yesterday and will perform twice again today and then at the end of the today the winners will be announced. She did really well yesterday!

Knotts Berry Farm

Snoopy was waiting at the entrance for my arrival, at least I like to think so:) We got to spend about three hours here before the downpour came and we had to leave. Too bad they do not give rainchecks. I rode the Pony Express with my sister and Damacio, this was the best. I had to buy the photo they took on the ride. I do not have the photo to post but will soon.

Backhand spring
