Love these shoes....I really do not NEED more shoes but I like them:) The black one I bought in a cranberry red ( it is so cute!)

Timber!

I did not think Sunday night's storm was that bad but apparently part of my tree did. I did not hear it fall, the BBQ is under there. I bought a saw and cut it into pieces and put it in the trash cans. Spot was scared and did not know what to think of this. Called the HOA to have a landscaper come out and take a look because I would like another part of the tree removed.

I want one

How awesome to have a house on the beach! The damage from the salt water is pretty bad but would be worth it.

New flip flops for all except Kim. I told her she should have bought herself a pair, the only ones she had broke last night.

The Cliffs

I really wanted lobster for lunch/dinner but settled for fish tacos. They were good and I was surprised this place did not offer more seafood options. Hollie asked about the pasta salad and the waiter did not recommend it(I think they were out), I wanted a fruit drink but the restaurant was out of one of the ingredients.

Sanitary protection

I have never seen this before, pretty cool. Wave your hand in front of sensor and new seat cover appears.

2 dr visits in 2 days

First went to the dermotologist yesterday and today the eye doctor for new contacts. I had my eyes dialated this afternoon and it sure is bright outside! Sitting in the house now with the blinds drawn watching tv. I hope my contacts last til the new ones come in (7-10 days).

Big Brother

Who is watching this season? So disappointed with tonights episode. I was hoping Jordan would put up Rachel and her man for eviction and Rachel would then get voted off. Too bad Cassi and Shelly got nominated.

Delicious

Monday night I went to the Rokeri. They serve the same menu as Richardson's did....still sad Richardson's burned down but is supposed to reopen again in September. They serve the BEST Mexican food, since the owner is from New Mexico they know how to do it:) Darn I did not get any pics of Bill since the dinner was held in his honor to thank him for all the work he has done here in Phoenix.

Keepsake Ornament Premier

Tomorrow starts the Hallmark ornament premier and it ends sunday. I like the Wizard of Oz ruby red slippers which is a limited edition and also the first in series ornament for Up, such a cute movie. I will be there, I have some good coupons to use:)

Next Season Sale is on

Nordstroms started their next season sale this weekend. Check out the prices on Uggs...not too bad. The black one is my favorite pictured.

New drink

This afternoon Laura and I went to Starbucks. We decided to try the new very berry hibiscus drink. It is ok, it has a lot of stuff floating in it. Price was $3.25 for a grande. All the prices went up, my favorite for the summer, the venti passion sweetened is now $2.75 up from $2.50 last week.

Another BAD movie

I went to the afternoon matinee to see Bad Teacher. Bad decision. The only funny parts are what you see on the commercials.

Last weekend I went to see Larry Crowne, this was a good choice, cute movie! Gotta love Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts.

Has anyone seen Tree of Life? I want to see this.

Culture Pass

I thought this was pretty cool and wanted to share. Starting July 1 you can go to most of the valley libraries and check out a Culture Pass. The Culture Pass will give you and a guest access to whatever attraction you choose. Most venues are museums and the Phoenix Zoo is also included. The receipt from the library is your ticket to get in free and has to be used within 7 days. The best day I would recommend going to the zoo is July 16th when they are doing Winter in July. San Tan Flat

San Tan Flat in Queen Creek can be compared to Greasewood flats in Scottsdale but it is nicer and newer in my opinion. I went there last night and had a great time! They have a country band playing every friday and saturday night, met some cool people and even danced a few songs. Fire pits are by the front of the dance floor and a few people had a fire and were making smores, it was only around 110 in the evening I guess they needed a fire to keep warm:)
