Lasagna YUM!

I went over to a friends house for dinner tonight. It was delicious! She made lasagna, salad and strawberry shortcake for dinner. Nothing is better than a home cooked meal with good company.

Gifts from India

I received some gifts from associates offshore to give to others they have been working with here over the last couple of months. I thought the bags were pretty so I took a pic of them. The small box is tea and the other box is a pen and holder I received.

Temperature at 4pm

My first trip on the Light rail

I took the light rail for the first time from work to US Airways Center. An all day pass is $2.50, beats parking for $10. You have to activate the pass before getting on the train but no one came by to check if we had a ticket. Very convienent, the only bad thing was it was really chilly while waiting for the train to go back and pick up my car.

P.S. Would not recommend doing this by yourself, downtown Phoenix can be scary at night.

Prom dresses

I saw a group of about 6-8 women wearing prom dresses at the Suns game. They were all sitting together and their ages probably varied from 18-70. Why?

Smoothies anyone?

Wednesday Lenore and I went to see Jane perform at the Suns game. She was awesome!

We went to get something to drink before heading up to our seats(which were closer to the ceiling than the floor). The guy behind the counter had just finished serving the customer in front of us while we were still deciding what flavor to get. Instead of asking us what we wanted he put his down by the cash register as if he were taking a nap. We looked a him for maybe a minute, what the heck is he doing? My phone was in my purse and I was not fast enough to capture a picture of this before he got up and asked what we wanted. I had the Strawberry Banana, it was good.

No one felt like cooking

This is what I had for Easter. The guys grilled hot dogs and hamburgers.

Two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey, they had an argument and one friend slapped the other in the face. The one that was slapped was hurt and without saying a word, wrote in the sand “today my best friend slapped me in the face.” They kept walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to bathe. The one that who had been slapped started to drown, but the best friend saved him. After recovering from the near drowning, he carved into a stone “Today my best friend saved my life.”

The other friend asked, “when I hurt you, you wrote in the sand, and now you write in the stone, why?” The friend replied “ when someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand, where the winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.”

Dog Wash

The car wash I went to today also has a pet wash, Spot did not go.

Years ago I had a cute little Geo Metro Convertible that looked like this one.

It would be great to still have this little car now since the weather here is perfect to put the top down.

The one that got away

This morning at Starbucks I saw a really cute guy. I tried to take his picture but each time he moved. Darn it!!
